If you're curious which Community Web Sites the

2001.
Teens and young adults bring
dynamism and technological know-how to the
community groups they get involved in. Nurturing
their energetic minds, bodies and spirits as
they grow to adulthood has long been an
important part of the ministries of Catholic and
other religious organizations. Now these
faith-based youth and young adult groups are
making particularly good use of the Web to keep
their audiences involved and informed.
St.
Cletus Lifeteen: This
summer, teens in the St. Cletus parish in St.
Charles are being encouraged to get off the
couch and away from the TV to make new friends.
The youth minister has lined up trips to the
rivers, the Muny, Six Flags and much more to
compliment the group’s normal slate of
activities. Visit the site to take a look at
what they’ve got planned.
St.
Joseph Parish-Cottleville Youth
Ministry: Producing a
variety show is no simple feat, yet that’s what
the teens in the St. Joseph parish are planning
to do this summer. The show will be held on July
28. Visit the youth ministry’s Web site for the
crucial details, and, while you’re there, click
on the HS Newsletter link to read a real life
story that will inspire
you.
Young
Adult Ministry: YAM is one
of two "young adult ministries" in our network.
The other
one is affiliated with the Catholic
Archdiocese; YAM, though is a
multi-denominational Christian group of singles
and married couples, most in their twenties and
thirties. The group stages social events,
community service projects and worship services.
Visit YAM’s site calendar page for a listing of
the its upcoming events.
